Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Snook, Jack Crevalle, Bonefish, Tarpon, , Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Lane Snapper, Great Barracuda, and whatever else takes the bait. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Neftali also offers fly fishing.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own.

Your excursion begins aboard a 21’ Pesqueros flats boat with space for 2 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses please don’t forget the most important tool your camera. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles (alcoholic beverages not included)There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.
