On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Jim also offers Flounder gigging.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You’re welcome to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 25’ Hydra-Sports center console with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
