Alaska’s Kenai Jim’s Lodge & Guides
Alaska’s Kenai Jim’s Lodge & Guides have been providing fishing and lodging on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula since 1978. By car from Alaska’s largest city Anchorage, you can take the scenic Seward/ Sterling paved highway through the majestic Chugach Mountains (about 150 miles) to their lodge. This travel route will have you passing magnificent glaciers, lakes and rivers; you may even spot wildlife like Dall sheep, moose, bears, and more.
Because you will be traveling on Alaska’s limited road system, you find your costs greatly reduced as compared to the roadless areas of Alaska. You will have access to grocery stores, restaurants, and other modern service industries. Yet, the Kenai Peninsula also has roadless areas for the wilderness lover. The lodge’s central location allows you easy access to many popular areas of the Kenai Peninsula.
Many of the lodge’s guests choose to stay in their two bedroom condo-style lodging. You have a full kitchen, dining and living room for your party. You may wish to pursue guided sport fishing trips for Salmon, Halibut or Trout. Custom packages can usually be designed to fit your interests and budget. They can advise you as to the best dates for targeting the species of fish that interests your party and are happy to advise you as to other outdoor activities available in this area of Alaska.
Groups of 5 can be accommodated upon request. Please feel free to contact us with any questions about planning your adventure in Alaska. We want to help you make some great lifetime memories when you visit “The Land of the Midnight Sun”.

Jim Johnson was very helpful in identifying poor fishing conditions on Kenai and therefore arranging alternate trip with FishingTalesGuides on the Kasilof. It was early in the season but still landed one King Salmon. Would recommend this trip but delay until mid July.
