Get Tight Fishing By Bomba Tours – Economy
No Frills Fishing!!!
Brought to you by your favorite Fishing Booker Anglers Choice winners for 2023, this is our economy option.
By popular demand, we have created this option that is intended for customers looking to enjoy being out on the water with local fishermen but are not die-hards looking for huge gamefish.
Having said that, the captain frequently goes on this boat with friends and regularly brings home decent-sized fish. Mostly Grouper, Barracuda, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Groupers, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, and Snappers. Don’t expect to bring home a Marlin. The boat was completely renovated in 2024 with the engines having broken in in January of 2024.
The difference between our bigger boat and smaller boat, aside from size, is the inability to always deep drop (it depends on sea conditions) and go very far from shore. On the plus side, we can go to the Bay of Baru and to the Rosario Islands through the canal because this boat can go through shallow water with ease.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
Trips with Get Tight Fishing are great for kids, so go ahead and bring the whole family along!
Your adventure begins aboard a 26’ Eduardono panga that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available.
There will be drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
If you have a good day, it’s customary to offer a 10–20% tip.
You could keep reading this, but wouldn’t you rather be fishing?
