Homosassa Fishing Excursions
Excited to cast a line in Homosassa? Homosassa Fishing Excursions is your ticket! Captain Jack will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from years of sportfishing experience.
Amberjack, Redfish, Snook, Speckled Trout, Jack Crevalle, Gag Grouper, Sheepshead, Bluefish, Mangrove Snapper, Grunt, Bonnethead Shark, Scallop, and more inhabit these waters if you come at the right time of year.
You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You’re welcome to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your vessel for the day is a 23’ Bay boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has and all the essentials.
You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
