Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your trip begins aboard a 26’ Center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Fantastic Fishing Adventure with Captain CJ!
Our 3/4 day jetty trip with Captain CJ was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we set off, CJ’s expertise and passion for fishing were evident. He took us to prime spots, and we caught a variety of fish, including Sheepshead and Redfish. The trip was well-organized, with all the gear, bait, and even catch cleaning provided—making it an stress-free and enjoyable outing. CJ was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, creating a fun atmosphere for our entire group. We even had the bonus of seeing dolphins during the trip! Highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to have a great day on the water.

Just Cast Fishing Charter.... What can I say but just an amazing time it was. Captain JT and his first mate Moe were great guys to be on a boat with, they put us on some fish and made sure my boys were in the action as well. Everyone had lots of fun experiencing something new including a little bit of sea sickness. Captain JT fileted our catch and we took it to a nearby restaurant that cooked it for us. It was definitely a feast fit for a king and his family. Without a doubt I would recommend these guys for a trip.
