Miss Banx 

Make an adventure out of your next trip to Wanchese and go fishing with Miss Banx. You will be fishing with the only female Captain in the Safe Harbor fleet!

We will target Redfish, Bluefish, Black Seabass, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Flounder, Amberjack, and more depending on the conditions.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! And you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Captains Taylor, Jay, & Edward Lee operate a 32’ Topaz with space for six passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.

There are rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

You do not need a fishing license!

Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
