Species like Blackfin Tuna, Gray Triggerfish, Mutton Snapper, Snook, Bull Shark, Mangrove Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Gag Grouper, Cobia, Tarpon, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and more are in the cards, depending on when you go. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

Your vessel for the day is a 28’ Bimini center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. You can’t go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is not allowed.

Two Days of Off-Shore Fishing!

8 Hour Trip offshore on August 15, 2025

I brought my Bass-Fishin’ contractor down Florida for some ReeL Off-Shore fishing. Aaron, will never be the same!! This isn’t my first trip with Captain José; in fact, I brought my contractor on this trip because I’ve never been skunked on José’s boat. As always, Captain put us in the fish immediately. Mind you, this is mid-August, the slow season. 40+ lb Amberjacks! 20-25lb Red Snappers, 15-30lb King Mackerals, ~40lb Blackfin Tuna, Mahis, Barracudas and a few sharks. Both days we got whooped, and the second day, we asked to get off the reef bottom and troll a bit, because those Reef Donkeys kicked our Jack-Asses!! Whether you want in-shore Snook, or off-shore big gamefish, this guy is YOUR next Charter. Be careful what you wish for…you just might spend 45 minutes trying to land that wish, and sometimes that hurts! Can’t wait for my next trip. ….. …. BTW, make sure you get some cardio in before your trip; you’ll thank me

Fishing with Jose

7 Hour trip off shore on August 11, 2025

Awesome day out on the water all of his equipment is high-quality and well kept boat is super clean and in amazing condition went out and caught bait. The morning of fishing was amazing as fast as we put new bait on and toss it out, we were getting bit and catching fish, he’s a great captain. You can tell by the way he takes care of his equipment and how he treats his customers super respectful, super nice and very well kept equipment. If you’re looking to catch some big fish would 100% recommend.!!

Red Snapper Season 25’

8 Hour Trip offshore on July 12, 2025 • 2 adults

Great trip! Captain Jose really knows how to navigate the waters and has lots of great experience catching fish. He takes the time to explain and teach his clients how to get on fish! I went with a crew of 4 and we caught our limit of red snappers! I also caught my personal best mangrove snapper big boy! Overall, I would totally come back and fish with Captain Jose and would definitely recommend him to be your next Captain! Fish on and tight lines 🎣 🤙🏽

Awesome Fishing Trip!

5 Hour Trip – Nearshore on April 15, 2025 • 3 adults • 1 child

We went fishing with Captain J to celebrate my oldest son’s birthday. Captain J was very knowledgeable about where to find fish and within 30 mins of leaving the dock, we were catching fish pretty much every time we casted our rods! The wife and kids were loving it! Captain J was very helpful in explaining fishing techniques to the kids so they could catch as many fish as they could. We then went further offshore to try our luck with some bigger fish! We were still catching fish when we hooked a huge sailfish! It jumped out of the water a few times before it took off with some line and broke it. Although I didn’t land the fish, I had a great time fighting it. The fishing trip was a great time for the entire family and I would definitely go fishing again with Captain J! He truly wants you to have a great time fishing and goes above and beyond to make sure you will have a good time!

Fantastic Half-Day Fishing Charter with Captain J!

We had an incredible experience on a half-day fishing charter out of Cape Canaveral with Captain J! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to put us on the fish, and his knowledge and enthusiasm made the trip unforgettable. We caught plenty of red snapper and even landed a nice cobia, making for an action-packed day on the water. Beyond the great fishing, Captain J created an amazing atmosphere, making sure everyone—experienced anglers and first-timers alike—had a great time.
