Captain Jon’s Laguna Lure Fishing is based in Corpus Christi, Texas, and is ideally located on North Padre Island for convenient access to inshore saltwater fishing. It is owned and operated by Capt Jon, a Corpus Christi-based fishing guide who offers inshore fishing trips in the Upper Laguna Madre and Baffin Bay. With over two decades of experience fishing these areas, Capt. Jon is well qualified to guide you on a safe, enjoyable bay fishing trip.
You will be fishing aboard a comfortable 22’ Mako that is powered by a very reliable 200 HP Mercury Optimax engine. This boat offers a smooth, dry, comfortable and safe ride. The boat is equipped with quality navigational equipment and has plenty of seating, making it perfect for an enjoyable inshore fishing trip.
Captain Jon specializes in catching Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and Black Drum. He will tailor the best fishing strategy and lures or bait for that day based on the current conditions, what you want to achieve, and what will provide you the most enjoyable fish catching experience.
Captain Jon enjoys teaching the skill of lure fishing or fishing with live bait to all age groups and welcomes every level of angler on board. All fishing equipment, lures/bait are included in the price of the trip, so all you need to bring with you is snacks, drinks, and a valid Texas fishing license with a saltwater stamp to have a great time!
