Julie's Columbia River Fishing –Cascade Locks
Spend the day with Julie’s Columbia River Fishing and get hooked on fishing in Cascade Locks!
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, and plenty more. You’ll target your catch by trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You’ll be casting lines from a 24’ North River aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
