Nothin’ Matters – First Light
Spend the day with Nothin’ Matters and see what’s biting in Destin! With Captain Tyler at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Species like Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Swordfish, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Gray Triggerfish, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Scamp Grouper, Gag Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Amberjack, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish.
Kids are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Don’t forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll be casting lines from a 47’ G&S sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 10 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Tyler will provide rods and reels for you.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It’s never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Nothin’ Matters.
