Largemouth Bass, White Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Paddlefish, and more can be found in these waters, depending on conditions. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's bowfishing.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your excursion begins aboard a 20' Skeeter bass boat with room for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.

4 Hour Trip (10AM) on July 4, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 childrenWe caught bass for days. 7 year old daughter caught 10 large bass. my 10 year old son had to catch 25 large bass. were on a large school of fish. captain was great with kids ans we all had a lot of fun. great trip fo the whole family, or seeious fisherman. boat wasnt covered, so bring an spf shirt or subtan lotion. but, really wasnt a bother. would recommend to others, we all had a blast!

Joe was prepared with water and sunscreen. His dock was easy to find. And we kept him busy baiting hooks all morning. Good trip and a great memory.

Captain Joe did an excellent job of making sure everyone was catching big ones and then even helped teach them some techniques to hook massive spoonbills. Captain Joe was very friendly and we can’t wait to go on another trip with him!!

Joe knew exactly where the fish were and had us catching them within 10 minutes of getting to the spot.
