On the Water Charters 

There’s a fish with your name on it in Tavernier and On the Water Charters will help you catch it!

The fish in these waters include Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Tilefish, Black Grouper, Snook, Speckled Trout, Jack Crevalle, Almaco Jack, Yellowtail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, and more, depending on conditions. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to use light tackle.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. You’re welcome to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!

Your boat for the day is a 23’ Sea Hunt bay boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Dennis has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
