Florida offers some of the most varied fishing in the world. Its unique location allows people to fish Snappers hovering around wrecks as well as large Tuna and Sailfish, all on the same day. Key Largo Fishing Adventures capitalizes on this fact as they can cater to almost any request.
Climb aboard their impressive 44’ offshore sportfishing boat, built by the Ocean manufacturing company. She’s powered by mighty 485 HP engines, two of them in fact, all built by Detroit. This juice allows her to develop 28 knots when cruising, impressive for her size. The amenities on this boat are many, and all meant to give you an extra edge over the prey: a fighting chair, flybridge, live bait well, outriggers, the list goes on. Comfort isn’t neglected though, as a kitchen, bed, and a full-head toilet are available on board.
The species targeted on this charter are extremely varied. You can go after the nearshore fish such as Snappers, Groupers, Sharks, or you can go after Tarpon. Large pelagic game is also on the menu, with Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and others. The techniques available to you are spinning with light and heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, and even kite fishing.
All the necessary equipment for fishing is provided by the captain. There is no minimum age for children and Captain Greg loves teaching little anglers the tricks of the trade. Clients are advised to bring polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, and adequate clothing. Live bait is available on this charter.
