Fish On Boston’s Finest Poledancer

709 Shirley Street
Winthrop MA, United States

Fishing Vessel Poledancer is located in different areas depending on the season, in order to always be in the most productive area for whichever fish is best at that time of year. In April, she is located out of Bourne, Massachusetts, where she fishes Buzzard’s Bay for Tautog and Scup, two of the best tasting fish in the ocean. Pound for pound, Tautog is one of the funnest fish to fight. Come May, Poledancer fishes the Boston Harbor for Flounder and Mackerel, while June starts with Squid in Falmouth and then moves to Striped Bass. However, the company can also run charters on the Cape, Race Point, the east end of the canal and Sandwich.

Charter trips will be personalized to cater for whatever, and however, you want to fish. If you want to fly fish from the back of the boat, you are welcome to do so if you bring your own gear. Otherwise, if you’d rather catch a line screaming Striper that is over 40 inches, this is the right place to do it!

Before embarking on her charter fishing career, the Poledancer was used as a commercial fishing boat that focused on catching fish with rod and reel and selling immediately to local restaurants to provide the best quality fish around. She has recently been restored and features the appropriate marine electronics, as well as a live bait tank, an ice box, and a restroom.

My Grand father and Dad were both fisherman . I grew up at the age of 3 playing with lobsters while they dived for them . I love fishing and my favorite thing is tournaments. I'm not picky last year 2015 we placed in every tournament we entered. We even went to the Cape and won first place in 4 out of 6 categorizes.
