The wild waters of Morson are calling, and First Nation Guide Service is here to take you to them!
Here you won’t be far from remote lake waters, including some honeyholes that only a local guide can show you.
The name of the game around here is light tackle fishing, and that’s exactly what you’ll do. You can also do a bit of popping, jigging, bottom fishing, drifting, and maybe more your guide wants to show you. Gerald will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait.
Top targets include Muskellunge (Musky), Walleye, Crappie, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, and more, depending on when you go.
Any keeper fish caught during the trip are yours to take with you. Gerald even offers clean your catch for you so it’s ready to fry up at home. Have a cooler ready in the car! As many as 4 people are welcome on these excursions. You’ll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so dress accordingly and bring only as much as you can carry.
Don’t hesitate to send Gerald a message below with any questions you have, including where to meet on the day of your trip.
Be sure to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Be sure to dress in layers and suitable footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen, rain or shine.
Children are welcome to come along. Remember to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you’ll have to bring your own.
Morson has a fish with your name on it – let First Nation Guide Service help you catch it!
