One Shot Sportfishing is one of the top Tuna boats out of Barnegat Inlet, NJ. Located at beautiful Key Harbor Marina in Waretown, Captain John or Captain Sean will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from over 30 years of offshore sportfishing experience.

The offshore trips are in waters known for Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Tilefish, and more! We specialize in targeting pelagic species including Yellowfin, Bluefin and Bigeye Tuna. Bottom fishing trips are often done using jigs and bait.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Our Seabass, Fluke and Striped Bass trips are perfect for kids of all ages. Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board.

Your offshore excursion begins aboard a 32' Twin Diesel Express sportfishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers for inshore trips and up to 4 for offshore. It comes with outriggers, custom rods and top of the line reels and tackle. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. The boat is equipped with Starlink and A/C in the cabin as well. This boat has been well equipped for tournament fishing.

For inshore wreck and bay trips, you can also fish on a Kencraft center console equipped with spot lock and top of the line garmin electronics. Send us a message to discuss pricing for these trips, they are much less than offshore trips.

We will supply all the rods, reels, bait and tackle for you.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Our mates have many years of inshore and offshore experience and will work hard to make your trip memorable, so a 15-20% tip is customary.

You should bring sunglasses, food and drinks for the day, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
