KRB Outfitting (Whitney)
Book your next trip with KRB Outfitting and find out what keeps anglers coming back to Cedar Shores for more. Your guide for the day is Captain Clay, offering years of local experience.
These waters are known for Striped Bass, Crappie, Catfish, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Trips with KRB Outfitting are great for kids, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Your boat for the day is a 22' Champion Bay Champ 22 center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair and all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available.
Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Even though we did not catch as much as we hoped for, out guide was great and the experience was excellent. Summertime fishing in Texas is hot and humid, but the boat had shade. A great time was had by all. We would do it again for sure.
Clay was great. He kept us on fish the entire time even though the weather was less than ideal to begin with. Was great with my son and made the trip memorable for us!
