If you’re in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Shiyax Sports Fishing. With Captain Hassan at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
These waters are known for Tuna, Trevallies, Wahoo, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Hassan also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks!
Capt. Shiyax Sports operates a 31’ sportfishing vessel that holds up to 7 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Shiyax Sports Fishing!
