About this listing
Come flyfishing on the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains in southern Alberta. These rivers are all freestone mountain waters that are crystal clear and wild. With having the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop, it’s hard to take it all in.
Your guide, Nick Barnes, has been flyfishing these waters for 30 years and each time he goes out he is amazed at the scenery. With his knowledge he will guide you on these rivers and give you memories for a lifetime. Do not forget your camera! There is also the possibility for you to see the local wildlife during your trip.
Nick will provide a healthy lunch with beverages, and will also arrange transport to and from the rivers. As an independent guide he can offer you lower prices and a more personal experience. He will also provide the flies and gear for your trip as needed.
Alberta Creek Walker’s season is from June 16th to October 31st. During this time you will experience some amazing fly hatches that these fish feed on. You will be targeting Cutthroat Trout, Rainbow Trout, Rocky Mountain Whitefish and the very aggressive Bull Trout. These fish are wild and offer some amazing battles.
Nick looks forward to taking you out to some of the most beautiful rivers in the world, where good friends are made and memories last forever.
