Looking to catch some fish in Long Beach? Salty Pleasure Boating is here to make it happen! With Captain Carter at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.

Depending on the season, you might hook into Halibut, Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Rockfish, Sculpin, and whatever else is biting. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Carter also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don’t forget to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed! You’ll find yourself aboard a 21’ Triumph center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair, and all the essentials. Rods and reels are not supplied for you, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Get in touch with Capt. Carter below and start planning your trip today!
