Trip was excellent weather did not cooperate which made catching fish difficult but it wasn’t because of lack of effort or the equipment as it was all in excellent shape

First off the person who took us fishing was excellent. We caught lots of fish and really enjoyed our trip. Now to the important part for anyone signing up for this trip. The $36 dollars you paid goes to the booking company and does not count towards your fishing trip. For this you need to have Pesos or US dollars or a visa or mastercard that works in Mexico. I brought and American express. That card works in very few places. The captain said he would expect Paypal or cash only. Since it was 6.30am luckily we had enough US cash and Pesos to afford the license. $13 US dollars each and the $20 for live bait. Unfortunately that took all our cash for the rest of the trip, leaving us scrambling to get our US credit cards to work and looking for nay place that took american express to eat. The owner “Walter” who does speak english was kind enough to buys us some food for the trip. .

This was a great value for the price. There were a number of items that were originally said to be included but we were charged for. Walter then confirmed that they were included and left the overpaid money at my hotel. Couldnt have asked for better service! Also, our boat driver took us through the arches on the way out and that was beautiful and saved us another trip and $ to get out there.
As far as fishing we didnt catch anything big. We had fun reeling in the bonita and skipjacks that we ended up using as bait. We did see 2 Makos, a thresher, hammerhead and bull shark that were activley stealing our lines. We saw one blue but were not able to entice it.
Bring your own lunch unless you want to pay $15usd for 3 small homemade sandwiches, a couple bags of chips, and a piece of fruit.
There were plenty of beers and water for the price.
We bought bait for $20 (not included) but we spent the first hour trolling for bait with plastics. This was fun catching/reeling. Not a bad 5 hours for $200 total for 2 people.
