Depending on the season, you might hook into Great Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Wahoo, Bigeye Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and who knows what else! Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Cristal Fishing Charters welcomes kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!

Capt. Anthonie will bring you aboard a 38’ Bertram sportfishing boat with capacity for 10 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. The vessel is equipped with the latest addition of SEAKEEPER which is a boat stabilizer, therefore the guests are offered a very smooth ride. Capt. Anthonie will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It’s always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
