If you’re ready to enjoy fishing in Orange Beach, we’ve got you covered with Fish the Predator. With Captain Thad at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
These waters are known for Bonito, Lane Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Scamp Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Wahoo, and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" On the day of your trip you’re likely to bottom fish.
Trips with Fish the Predator are kid-friendly, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Capt. Thad operates a 45’ sportfishing vessel with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Thad will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Fish the Predator!
