These waters are home to Striped Bass, Bluefish, Cod, Haddock, Pollock, Bluefin Tuna, Porbeagle Shark, Mako Shark, Blue Shark, Atlantic Mackerel, Squid, Dogfish, and more with any luck.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Alex also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

You’ll be fishing aboard a 23’ Sea Hunt center console with space for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
