Mi Yeni Sportfishing PV welcomes you to the stunning waters of Puerto Vallarta. With Captain César Marcelino at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
These waters are known for Striped Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Sierra Mackerel, Roosterfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Sailfish, Albacore Tuna, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. César Marcelino can also have you kite fishing.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to keep ‘em happy!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 26’ Center console that can carry up to 5 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now’s the time to experience fishing in Puerto Vallarta for yourself, with Mi Yeni Sportfishing PV!
