These waters are known for Striped Bass, White Perch, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, Redfish, Cobia, Bluefish, Flounder, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. You can expect to do some spinning, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your day begins aboard a 23' Pathfinder center console that holds up to 5 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Capt. Jeff was great. From asking about our situation and tailoring the trip to a family, to patience and encouragement with children, to working his butt off to get us fish, to a nice, smooth boat, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We caught a fari amount of Seabass and Flounder. Worked for some Cobia too, but they wouldn't cooperate. We highly recommend Sick Day. Capt. is just a solid dude too.
We took the 6 hour Chesapeak bay trip, and had a wonderful time. we had 2 experienced anglers and 2 new angles. Captain Jeff was a great help in teaching both experienced and non experienced anglers. We had a great experience and would recommend this trip for anyone who is actually looking to CATCH FISH!!!! Thank you again Captain Jeff!
Captain Jeff is a great guide and, in talking with him, we feel he is also a great person. We each caught multiple fish. The captain kept us moving along if we were not catching anything, then, when we found fish he quickly adjusted to re-rig the lines so we could catch the fish in the area. Great trip and would go anytime.
took my sons out with captain Jeff and were catching fish almost the second the hook hit the bottom caught. caught a variety of fish, but were interested in taking some flounder home. caught a couple dozen, but only one keeper. most were just under legal size.definitely going again
Captain Jeff was amazing! We had a last minute trip to OC and he was very accommodating! Not to mention it was my first time out and didn’t feel the best so he made sure to move spots and ensure everyone had a great time! My little one basically thought he was Google and asked every question in the book, Jeff answered and had the most patience. He will talk about this for weeks! We can’t wait to return.
