Make an adventure out of your next trip in Highlands and go fishing with Salt Line Charters and Sportfishing.
Striped Bass, Flounder, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Salt Line Charters and Sportfishing is a kid-friendly charter service, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You’re welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 32’ Boston Whaler center console with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Salt Line Charters and Sportfishing!
