If fishing in Prince Rupert is on your bucket list, look no further than Clearly Coastal Charters. With Captain Jeff at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Halibut, Salmon, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Trips with Clearly Coastal Charters are fun for all ages, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your day begins aboard a 27’ Hewescraft aluminum fishing boat with capacity for 4 passengers. It has downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, time to hit the water with Clearly Coastal Charters!
