Spend the day with Reel Spooled Charters and get hooked on fishing in the Saint Johns River or surrounding lakes! Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Trever can tell you all about the local fishery.

While targeting the famous Florida Largemouth Bass you may also find Bream, Crappie, or Catfish. The Largemouth Bass here are a one of a kind with specific genetics and considered the Bass Capital. You may even get to catch a gator sunbathing. For these species, you’ll use artificial or live bait.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You’re welcome to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

Your adventure begins aboard a 20’ Xpress H20 Bay - Redfish SS Edition flats boat with capacity for 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included.

Before coming aboard, Florida Fish and Wildlife (FWC) require each person to purchase a freshwater license at an approved dealer or online before leaving the dock. This information is available online, or you can ask the captain.

Some essentials to bring are a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Water will be available for you.

Now’s the time to experience fishing in the freshwaters of Florida, with Reel Spooled Charters!

This trip is a great choice for anglers who want extra fishing time for an affordable price.

Largemouth bass grow so large in the south due to their unique genetic strain and the population thrives in the southern region due to plentiful food sources and limited cold water. When pursuing your PBR Bass or just out having a fun day ripping lips, NE Florida is a great choice. We supply 2 dozen shiners, artificial baits and lures, more shiners can be requested. All fishing equipment is covered by the guide. FL FWC requires each person buy a license before departing the dock. 3 or 7 day license avail.
