Eagle Express Charters is a family owned and operated business that specializes in deep sea fishing and prioritizes the safety and enjoyment of its customers. Fishing aboard a large, 52 ft custom built vessel, they can cater for up to 15 passengers on a day trip, and eight on overnight trips. With trips ranging from four hours to over 12 hours, they offer professional and reasonably priced trips that are perfect for both large and small groups of anglers.

The Eagle Express is a large, custom built Miller sportfishing boat that features two powerful John Deere engines. The boat features a full complement of electronics to help the captain find the best fishing fishing spots during the trip and to keep you in contact with the shore when necessary. With a huge back deck, a large tuna tower and an enclosed wheelhouse, as well as an extra large cabin with six bunks, a master bedroom and two bathrooms, this is a spacious and comfortable vessel with plenty of room for your whole group to fish and relax. The air-conditioned interior features satellite television and a Big Green Egg barbecue cooker.

The professional crew aboard the Eagle Express is headed by Captain Doug Price, an experienced fisherman who employs a wide variety of fishing techniques on his charters, offering trolling, top water and deep drop fishing. Whether you are a novice or an experienced angler, he will supply all the gear and expertise needed to fish for species such as Snappers, Groupers, and Triggerfish, as well as pelagics like Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and more.

Eagle Express’ aim is not just for you to have an above average fishing experience, however. Their main priority is to show you an adventure that is so much fun you will keep coming back for more.

I make it a point to make sure everyone that comes fishing with me feels comfortable and has more than just a deep sea fishing trip but a memory that will make you want to come back again. I run a family friendly company and enjoy teaching kids the joys of fishing.

Tackle was poor for the price of the trip, a lot of fish species we were fishing for was not in season not knowing this would have changed my mind for a 2400 dollar snapper trip , they did troll in and out shore but really as a charter buyer it was more to burn time and save his fuel rather than really fish the trolled offshore lures basically what doesn’t bite inshore to just 25 miles out the boat was really good my group had a good time and my daughters had fun but from the professional experience it could have been different we did catch plenty of snapper but I picked a boat that I felt would give that real ginuine off shore experience . Basically it was an over priced snapper trip . The boat came in earlier than he was supposed to by about 40 minutes ,for only 25 miles out I feel the captain was setting up on an evening charter he asked me to leave atelier that morning which was not an issue but it ranked low on my 10s list .deck hands were friendly and tentive I tipped 20 percent

We are sorry that you and your family and friends had a poor time with us on the Eagle Express. We do troll out and in from our offshore locations, but we have had proven success with these lures within 25 miles this year and in the past. The different species of fish we caught that were out of season werent targeted on our behalf. I do understand throwing fish back is frustrating but I can’t make one type of fish bite the hook over another. After we reached our limit of red snapper,  I was trying to target Mingo and white snapper and we caught a few before trolling back in. Once again, I do apologize for your poor experience and would like another chance to earn your business in the future.

What a day.  When we hit the reef 22 miles out, it was like we were fishing in an aquarium.  In addition to hitting our max Red Snapper, and returning trigger fish that were out of season, we caught a 6 ft and 8ft shark.  Out of 8 people on the boat, we had 5 first timers.  It was a very memorable experience.  Awesome boat and awesome Captain and Mate.  I have been on a dozen trips, this was by far the best.  2 thumbs up
