Blood and Guts Guide Service

923 Timber Cove Drive
Galveston TX, United States

Blood and Guts Guide Service offer great days out drift and wade fishing the Galveston Bay for Redfish, Flounder and Speckled Trout. They have a strong emphasis on fun, and are happy to help everyone land some tasty fish, no matter the age or skill level.

Blood and Guts’ 25 ft Sea Fox center console bay boat is the perfect tool for the job. Spacious and stable, she is versatile enough to keep rock steady on choppy water but still get into the skinny stuff without a problem. She is powered by a 225HP Yamaha engine up to a top speed of 45 knots, so you will be sure to get on fish as soon as possible, and with GPS and fishfinder, you’ll be sure to know when you’ve found them!

The boat comes equipped with all the tackle and lures you will need on your trip, and if you choose to you can buy some live bait off the captain, although with Captain Adolph’s experience and tricks up your sleeve you won’t need it!

Captain Adolph Postel has been fishing since he was a kid, and has over 20 years experience on the Galveston Bay. He loves working with both seasoned anglers and complete beginners to help them land the catch of a lifetime. He and his boat are both very family-friendly, and he always tries extra hard to make sure children have a great time out on the water and come back with some amazing fish as well as great memories.

About the Captain

Adolph Postel
Galveston, Texas, United States
Member since April 2016
Fishing became a passion of mine at a very early age, fishing with my Dad and my Uncles off of piers and the shoreline. That passion continued to grow and at 19 years old I bought my first boat, and have been fishing the Galveston Bay System for a little over 20 years. I truly enjoy teaching others and enjoy watching them catch fish. My goal as a Captain is to make sure we are safe, and that you come away from our trip a better angler, and keeping your rods bent! I am a United States Coast Guard Captain, as well as a Texas Parks and Wildlife Certified Fishing Guide, and I look forward to fishing with you and your crew!
