Book your next trip with Aquaman Trip and find out what you’re missing in Flic en Flac.
Great Barracuda, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Longbill Spearfish, and more can be found in these waters, depending on the season.
During the trip you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Jayvine also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You’ll be casting lines from a 27’ Mario Berger center console with room for 8 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
