Get Some Charters 

If you’re ready to start fishing in Everglades City, book a trip with Get Some Charters. With Captain John at the helm, you’ll benefit from over 24 years of knowledge and experience in the Everglades National Park.

These waters are known for Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Blacktip Shark, Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon, Sheepshead, Black Drum, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. During the trip you will be using spinning gear and popping corks or jigs.

Capt. John believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children under 6 must wear life vests while underway, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Cooler with ice + bottled water available but bringing snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your adventure begins aboard a 24’ NauticStar bay boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials to ensure a great day of fishing. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live shrimp with be waiting aboard so you are ready to go catch some fish.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
