Josh grew up on the Umpqua river and has been fishing his home waters for over 30 years.
He has been guiding for over 12 years and its no secret that he loves being on the water.

Captain Josh offers fishing trips for Smallmouth Bass, Winter Steelhead, Striped Bass, American Shad, Chinook and Coho Salmon.

This is a family friendly fishing experience for all ages from either a 17’ Pavati drift boat or 24’ North River Scout. Both are very comfortable.

From casting for Striped Bass or Salmon to Anchor fishing for Spring Chinook. It’s hard to have a bad day on the Umpqua River.

Josh is a very easy going guide that is always happy to meet new clients and returning ones regularly become friends.

    This is Umpqua River winter Steelhead we will be fishing the Main, North or South Umpqua Drift boat or power boat depending on weather/fishing conditions and number of people. Anchor fishing, side drifting or back trolling. Both boats have heaters and either a bbq grill or pizza oven. Because its great having hot food when its cold outside. Power boat has a top Bring fishing license, snacks and rain gear.
