Offshore Reef Fishing and Tuna Excursions
If you’re in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Overkill Adventures. With Captain D at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
These waters are known for Amber Jack, Triggerfish, Great Barracuda, Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Sailfish, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Swordfish, Blue Marlin, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, you can expect to freeline live bait, throw artificial lures, troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
WE OFFER 3-8 HOUR TRIPS TO THE REEFS AND WRECKS AND 12 HOUR TRIPS TO THE OIL RIGS. Keep in mind that travel time is included in the total charter time.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children 12 and under must wear life vests, so let us know their ages prior and we will have the appropriate sizes available. Customers are encouraged to bring plenty of drinks, food and snacks, something about being on a boat makes us extra hungry. Bring a small cooler, or use ours. We have plenty of ice on board.
You’ll find yourself aboard a 33’ Ocean Master center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. Fuel is included on the 6 and 8 hour trips, but NOT INCLUDED on the 12 hour trips, where we usually consume about 200-250 gallons and you pay what we pay at the pump.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time!
Come aboard Overkill Adventures and get hooked. Call directly with any questions.
