Overkill Adventures has 3 boats from 19', 22' and this 33' Ocean Master for offshore trips. Make sure you check out OVERKILL ADVENTURES other boats and charters so you can book the perfect trip.

These waters are known for Amber Jack, Triggerfish, Great Barracuda, Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Sailfish, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Swordfish, Blue Marlin, Mahi, Wahoo and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, you can expect to freeline live bait, throw artificial lures, troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.

WE OFFER 3-8 HOUR TRIPS TO THE REEFS AND WRECKS AND 12 HOUR TRIPS TO THE OIL RIGS. Keep in mind that travel time from the dock is included in the total charter time.

Kids are welcome aboard! Children 6 and under must wear life vests, so let us know their ages prior and we will have the appropriate sizes available. Customers are encouraged to bring plenty of drinks, food and snacks. Bring a small cooler, or use ours. We have plenty of ice and cooler space on board.

You’ll find yourself aboard a 33’ Ocean Master center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a toilet, radar, navigation, auto-pilot and everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but we will generally stop and catch some on the way out.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. Fuel is included.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time!

We were on fish as soon as we got to the first spot. Captain David put us on Snapper and then we went and got some good looking amberjack.He really tried accomplishing getting any fish you asked him I asked for more of a fight than some of my family. He put me on two amberjack that worked for 15 minutes a piece. Then he wasn’t satisfied with us not having completely full cooler so he went trolling with us and got us another fish before we went back instead of just going back to make sure we didn’t bust time. I would fish with him again any time. I can’t wait to do a tuna trip to the oil rigs in the future, absolutely worth every penny. He also has great recommendations on food to cook up the meals you catch.

Amazing Experience with Captain David! We had an unforgettable day on the water with Captain David of Overkill Adventures! He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Before we even left the dock, he clearly explained all the boat guidelines, safety protocols, and what to expect — which made everyone, including our kids and grandkids, feel completely comfortable. Captain David took us to some phenomenal fishing spots where we caught 30 Red Snappers, along with Vermillion and Grey Snappers. The experience was fun, safe, and exciting for all ages — the kids had a blast, and the memories made will last a lifetime. If you’re looking for a top-tier fishing charter in Pensacola, Overkill Adventures is it. Highly recommend and we’ll absolutely be booking again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very child friendly activity!

I came to town to visit family with my 6 year old son who loves to wish, while I knew nothing about fishing I looked up local fishing charters. I knew I wouldn’t want to spend the entire day fishing, so I was very happy to see Captain David offered an hour fishing charter at a very reasonable price. After I talked about it with my family I decided that my son might have more fun if my uncle joined him in place sense they are both very passionate about fishing, I messaged captain david and it was so issue at all to make the switch. My son and uncle came back and raved on their experience. It may have been just an hour, but something they both will always remember. Captain provided everything needed for the trip including the bait. My uncle said he was really helpful with my little fisherman as well. I definitely look forward to going on the charter the next time we are in town and will look into booking for a longer time now! Thank you Captain David for providing such a fun experience.

6 Hour Offshore Reef & Wreck Trip on June 30, 2025 • 4 adults • 1 child

We booked a 6 hour trip starting at 0800. David was in contact with me leading up to and the morning of the trip. We arrived to the dock and had a few concerns about the weather; David was reassuring and professional in allowing us to make the final decision to go out. We went out about 16 miles, great ride, lots of fun, smiles and laughter from my family. As soon as we stopped, David got us all set up with rods and bait. The fish were biting as soon as we dropped the hooks. It was crazy fun and amazing to see my kids with such huge grins. Unfortunately, the lines were being bitten and we were not able to reel anything in. David asked us to reel in our lines and we moved to a new spot. As before, as soon as we dropped the lines, the fish were biting. This time, we were also reeling them in. David bounced around to all of us making sure we had bait on our hooks, grabbed the fish when we reeled them in and helped my 11yr old reel on a 7-8 lb spade. SHE WAS TICKLED PINK!! He let her do all she could do, he didn’t take over at all. He was so patient and encouraging with her, made my momma heart very happy. After checking the radar, we decided it would be a good idea (safer) to cut the trip short and go back in. We arrived back to the dock and got pictures of our catch. David cleaned our fish and put it in ziplock bags for us to take home. He also told us about local restaurant’s that will cook what we caught. David, you were absolutely amazing, professional, patient and so very kind to all of us. I WILL be booking another trip with you next time we are in town. Thank you so much for turning this dreary day into a wonderful first trip into the gulf.

We Caught Fish, They Watched – Epic Day with Capt. David

My late father-in-law loved to fish, and I just wanted my wife to feel a little of that same joy. She ended up catching the biggest fish on the boat — Captain David was hollering and cheering her on like it was a championship win! Boats pulled up and anchored all around us thinking we were onto something (we were). We kept catching fish while they watched… and caught nothing. It felt like a little blessing from above. Highly recommend Captain David — top-notch guide, great energy, and made the whole day unforgettable.
