Pulling Meat Fishing Charters is your ticket to the stunning waters of Cayuga Lake. Your guide for the day is Captain Mike, so you’ll benefit from years of angling experience.
There’s no guarantee when you’re fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Atlantic Salmon. You’ll target your catch by trolling. Flatlining, downriggers, long lines, and dipsy divers are some of the methods used.
Trips with Pulling Meat Fishing Charters are open to the whole family, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Children under 12 must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You’re welcome to bring snacks and drinks. A cooler is available on board, but you can bring a small one of your own. Alcohol is allowed, but illegal drugs are not.
Your vessel for the day is a 30’ Penn Yan with room for up to 4 passengers. It can take 6 passengers for an additional charge. Cannon Optimum downriggers, Humminbird and Garmin electronics, and auto pilot are some of the fishing equipment on board. Capt. Mike will provide Shimano and Okuma rods and reels and lures from the top manufacturers.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the Captain.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Pulling Meat Fishing Charters.
