Spend the day with Reel Adventures and see what’s biting in Okaloosa Island!
The fish in these waters include Tarpon, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Pompano, Flounder, Red Grouper, Vermilion Snapper, Sheepshead, Gag Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Red Snapper, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Dalton also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
You can keep some of the fish you catch, assuming regulations allow it. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home to eat. How’s that for fresh seafood? Reel Adventures welcomes kids aboard, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own.
You’ll be welcome aboard a 22’ bay boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Dalton will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Reel Adventures.
