Located on Pleasure Island, the area which includes popular vacation spots of the Gulf Shores, Pleasure Island Charters aims to show you the best of what the area’s marine life has to offer. Captain Alex Brewer and his crew are well equipped and ready to show you the very best experience possible.
You will be fishing aboard the beautiful Miss Carli, a 38’ Topaz flybridge boat that has everything you need on board for a deep sea fishing adventure. Inside, there are two air conditioners, a head, a galley with a microwave, television sets, and much more to make sure you feel right at home. Beginning June 1, there may be a fuel surcharge of $150, depending on fuel prices at the time.
Capt. Alex specializes in bottom fishing and deep drop fishing as well as trolling for big game fish. You can even try out fly fishing, as there will be equipment on board. The crew will supply all the bait and tackle you will need to catch fish, and they also provide fishing licenses for everyone on board.
The waters of the Gulf are known as some of the richest waters in the world, so you’ll have no problem reeling in some prized species of the area. Expect to come across different creatures that inhabit these waters, including Amberjack, Cobia, Red, Black, and Vermillion Snapper, Triggerfish, Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, and Sharks.
