Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
MainSqueeze Fishing Charters welcomes kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your day begins aboard a 29' Wellcraft Coastal walkaround with space for 5 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.

Capt. Israel was super friendly, punctual, and picked us up and dropped us off. Couldn't ask for a nicer boat, and we had a great time. He was friendly and helpful throughout the entire trip. We caught a variety of fish, and he even stopped to let us swim for a bit to cool off afterwards. This was a top-notch experience, and would fish with him again!
This trip was a great experience and the crew are extremely helpful as well as being great guys! 2 Decent Mahi and a few reef species caught today and dinner is served. Really good experience.
I can't say enough positive things about Captain Israel Whittaker and his incredible crew. Coming all the way from Philadelphia, my son and I had a handful of hopes for our trip: soak in some Reggae vibes, explore the island, dive into its history, and try our hand at fishing. Thanks to Captain Israel and the Main Squeeze, we got all that—and so much more. As total fishing novices, we were a bit nervous going in, but the crew couldn't have been more welcoming, patient, and helpful. Even on a day with choppy waters—when other boats weren't having much luck—Captain Israel refused to give up. He tried multiple spots and tactics until we finally hit the jackpot. My 11-year-old son reeled in not one but two gorgeous groupers, and I nearly landed one myself (yes, it really got away!). The entire experience was fun, relaxed, and filled with moments we'll be talking about for years. Booking with Main Squeeze was hands down one of the best choices we made on our week-long vacation. I usually do not leave reviews, but this Captain and mate deserve an excellent review. Israel and Derron were very professional, friendly, and inviting. The boat is pristine and very comfortable. Beautiful waters and scenery. It is truly nice to know gentlemen like this exist, and genuinely care about their clients!
