The fish in these waters include Mackerel, Amberjack, Bonito, White Marlin, Mahi Mahi), Yellowfin Tuna, Great Barracuda, Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Sailfish, and more. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll.

Trips with Gato’s Tours are fun for all ages, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea for a boost of energy when needed!

You'll be casting lines from a 30' center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
