Spend the day with the Nauti By Nature Sportfishing Team and see what's biting in Barbados! Our passionate team can’t wait to share this experience with you, giving you access to years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, Great Barracuda, Yellowtail Snapper, Bonito, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Horse-eye Jack, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!"
For these species, you're likely to troll using light or heavy tackle.
Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your boat for the day is a 40' Sportfishing that holds up to 14 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Nauti Dreams Fishing & Cruising.
