Lisharkman Land Based Shark Fishing – Wantagh
The wild waters of Wantagh are calling, and Lisharkman Land Based Shark Fishing is here to take you to them!
Around here you can cast a line in inshore waters, including some spots that only a local can show you.
The name of the game around here is heavy tackle fishing, which is how you'll get acquainted with these waters. Chris will provide rods and reels.
These waters are known for Nurse Shark, Ray, Blacktip Shark, Gummy Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Bull Shark, Blue Shark, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!"
Fishing on these trips is strictly catch and release. You're welcome to bring a group as large as 10 on this guided experience. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.
Don't hesitate to send Chris a message below with any questions you have, including where to meet on the day of your trip.
Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group will need to buy one. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Plan to dress in layers and appropriate footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunblock, and sunglasses, no matter the weather.
This is a kid-friendly experience, so feel free to bring 'em along and pack any snacks or extra clothing they need. Remember to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you'll have to bring your own. Children under the age of 12 fish for free!
The Wantagh wilderness is calling, now let Lisharkman Land Based Shark Fishing take you there!
