VERIFIED Went fishing on April 14, 2018
Long story short the effort was not their on the crews part. Caught a few small guys which was fun, but only spend about 2.5 hrs fishing out on a 6 hr trip and were only about 9 miles out. I am no charter fishing expert, but I can tell when someone is just going through the motions, and my other budies who have used many charters said that b far this was the worst. Not because we only caught a few, (the cpt cant control the weather or the fish), but just because of the lack of apparent care and customer service.
Bottom line is I would not recommend this charter.
P.S. The restaurant right next to their slip has not been cooking your catch if you bring it in for about a year now, regardless of what the first mate says.Bottom line I would not use again.

Kale, my question to you is; How can you say there was no effort by the crew? When we always work hard to catch fish and maintain the safety of the crew and passages while on the water. Myself and Cory have a very high standard and take pride in our job as fisherman. We were fishing with in 15 mins of leaving the dock. Then we pushed offshore 10 miles were we caught 20-25. Looked like you and your buddies were having a great time laughing and catching fish. Before and during every fishing trip we have the bait all cut up and gear ready to go. We baiting your hooks and removing the fish from the hooks as well. And we were showing you and your buddies how we catch fish while bottom fishing. Sounds like we put in a lot of effort so far. If I recall we got back to the dock at 5:50 pm, yes we were early. But if you recall at 5:00 pm there was a small craft advisory posted. Meaning the seas were starting to build and it was going to become unsafe on the water. As a USCG Captain the safety of the passagers, crew and boat is the most important thing while on the water. I even told you I would give you a price break on the balance of the trip since we are going back a little early. So Cory and I went above and beyond to make fishing trip enjoyable. It was great meeting you and your buddies, we enjoyed the time while on the water with you.

Had a great time experiencing what could’ve been the most incredible fishing experience however it was cooler than normal and very windy so not a good combo for good fishing. Under different weather circumstances I’m sure we would’ve caught fish, but still had a time we will remember! Thanks Jesse and Cory, it was great to meet you both and the conversations were memorable.
