Trip Summary

We have just wrapped up an excellent week here in Costa Rica with Simon & Ellis from the UK with Fishing aboard GOOD DAY, Three Brothers & IDRA 2. The guys enjoyed some incredible Fishing and got a taste of why Costa Rica ranks so highly on the global Sport Fishing map. Some trip highlights: -Blue Marlin for Ellis! -Two lost/missed Blue Marlin for Simon (within 20 mins of each other!) -Double hookups on Sailfish -Double hookups on Dorado -Double hookups on Roosterfish -Yellowfin Tuna on the Spinning Rods 60lb, 50lb, 40lb, 10lb - Roosterfish to 35-40lb - Sailfish on the Spinning Rods - Near miss on a Striped Marlin on the pitch bait - our 3lb Mackerel pitch bait was a bit big for the Stripey!! Catch summary: Day 1 - 4 for 5 Sailfish Day 2 - 1 for 2 Marlin, 3 Dorado Day 3 - 7 Roosterfish, 1 Snook, 2 Stingray, 1 Jack, 1 Snapper, 1 Mackerel Day 4 - 3 Tuna, 3 Jacks, 1 for 4 Sailfish Day 5 - 3 for 5 Sailfish, 0 for 2 Blue & Striped Marlin (ouch!)
