There's a fish with your name on it in Jacksonville Beach and Isle of Palm Charters will help you catch it!

These waters are known for Jack Crevalle, Black Drum, Cobia, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bluefish, Flounder, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. For these species, you're likely to drift and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Alex also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You'll be dropping lines from a 23' Carolina Skiff Sea Chaser bay boat with space for 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Alex will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.

We had the BEST time out with Isle of Palm Fishing Charters. Alex is seriously the real deal—super experienced, laid back, and just knows what he’s doing without making it feel like a whole production.

He put us on fish (we actually caught!) and made it fun the entire time, especially for the kids. He was so patient with them and really took the time to make sure they were into it and having a good time, which I appreciated more than anything.

Everything just felt easy and natural—no stress, no pressure, just a really great day on the water.
We had such a good time that we’re already planning our next trip with him in June. If you’re thinking about booking, do it. Alex will take care of you.

Hands down one of the best fishing trips I’ve been on 🎣🔥 Went out over the weekend and had an absolute blast from the minute we left the dock. The captain was awesome, kept everything fun . Ended up catching a big fish that made the trip unforgettable and had action all day. You can tell he know exactly what he’s doing and i had great time. Already ready to book another trip because I can’t wait to get back out there with them again 💯🐟

Awesome Captain Alex

6 Hour Trip – Inshore Slam on August 11, 2025 • 2 adults

Had a great morning on the charter with my brother Ray from Springfield, Illinois. His first charter. Competition was intense but little sister Leeni caught the first “Red”. Ray eventually caught one shortly after but size is the prize and Leeni won!  Any bigger and I would have had to throw him back!  Captain Alex was awesome, from first greet of high fiving my Seminole t-shirt to showing us the waters from Beach Blvd to the Wonderwood Bridge!  Could not have had a better experience!  Definitely will be using him for all future charters. Very convenient location and ended with a bite to eat at Dockside Seafood.

Great Vibes and Good fishing

6 Hour Trip – Inshore Slam on February 27, 2026 • 2 adults

We had another charter cancel a day and a half before our trip and was able to book and go out for a great day on the water! There has been a cold front and we were expecting to get skunked. Alex was a great capitan and tracked us down some red fish. He had bait and snacks ready and put in the work to make sure we both caught some fish. The vibes were awesome, would go again in a heart beat!
