With the March full moon upon us, the wahoo fishing has really started to heat up in front of Boynton Beach Inlet. We have been catching wahoo in the 15-20lb range while trolling with dead baits and artificial lures. The best part about this kind of fishing is that it takes place less than 2 miles from the beach- only 15 minutes after leaving the dock. This time of year is the best time of year to catch these schoolie sized wahoo off our coast. The wahoo in the photo was caught last week during a Southeast wind. It weighed around 15 lbs.
