Full Day Trip – Inshore on January 20, 2026 • 6 adults
Great trip with Capt Kendar, Tim and Danny. We asked them to accomodate us to fish some deep drops for grouper and snapper and they taylored a trip to our request. They even swapped an electric reel that we had brought with us onto one of their rods. The crew was helpful and attentive to our group and we enjoyed exchanging stories and jokes all day. Tackle, bait and food was all top notch. We have fished many local charters and Tim and Danny stand out because their communication was constant and genuine. We all felt included from the most seasoned anglers in our group to a couple novices. Our group of 6 had plenty of space as well on the boat and the layout was perfect. Price was very fair for what we received. Would be our first choice for next charter in Jaco/Sueños area.

Tim, Kendar, and Danny are absolute professionals in every sense of the word. We spoke with several other anglers who had booked charters and struggled to find fish—these guys not only found them, they executed flawlessly once they did. Between bites, the conversation and laughs were just as memorable as the fishing.
The mahi was filleted with precision and expertly bagged by the time we stepped off the boat, and Tat2 Tim went above and beyond by preparing phenomenal sashimi and ceviche on the spot and even took photos of the catch with a 3D camera. We enjoyed the experience so much that we immediately booked a second day—and were rewarded with a stunning blue marlin.
We've booked many charters over the years, and this one stands at the top. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for the ultimate fishing charter in Costa Rica, **Bob Marlin** is the boat you want, and **Tattoo Tommy**(and jeff owner)is the first mate you need! From the moment we stepped on the beach and boarded, the crew made us feel like family and set us up for an unforgettable day on the water. It was truly the best way to commemorate my husband and sons milestone birthdays.
Everyone in our group caught a tuna, and the highlight was reeling in a stunning sailfish—a true bucket list experience for my husband and a 40th birthday he will never forget! The energy on the boat was awesome, the crew was laidback but knowledgeable and fun. They worked nonstop to make sure we had the best possible trip. They made a big effort to make sure each of us had an opportunity to get that rush of adrenaline reeling in a fish. They kept changing tatics and once we checked a fish off we kept going for another species. The deck hand was a real MVP and we enjoyed watching his suburb skills from tying knots, changing lures, cleaning the fishing to filleting us up some fresh sashimi.
This was hands down one of the most epic adventures we've ever had in Costa Rica. If you're even thinking about booking a fishing trip, stop searching and book with Bob Marlin—you won't regret it! 🎣🌊🐟

We had a great trip. These guys really worked their asses off to make sure we caught fish, had a drink in our hand, and food when we wanted it. We caught 10 yellow fin tuna. Tried for marlin and sails, but just couldnt get on one, but it wasnt due to a lack of trying. Really nice people and excellent communication from the time I booked the trip til after we were off the boat.

We had an great time on the BOB MARLIN! Timmy, Jeff and Kendall are awesome! And they put us on the fish!
We started inshore, where they got me my first ever Rooster! Then we headed offshore where we had Tuna, Sailfish and Blue Marlin!
After fishing Timmy took us to a restaurant, where they prepped the Tuna 3 ways - delicious!
The boat was very nice, clean and spacious! We will be back in January for the next trip. I have travelled all over the world to fish, but this was by far the best experience I've ever had!
