Captain Chris of Central Florida Sport Fishing welcomes fishermen and women of all skill levels to come aboard his boat and experience the varied and exciting fishing Florida’s East Coast has to offer. Travel to and from the fishing grounds, from the backwater creeks to where oceans meet (and sometimes further) enjoying the pristine surroundings, and reel in your fish of a lifetime.

Central Florida Sport Fishing’s boat is a meticulously maintained 26 ft Mako center console that is equally at home in 10 inches of water as she is 40 miles offshore. The boat has been designed with one thing in mind - fishability - and it shows. With a stable ride and 360 degree fishability, as well as ample fishing space and a foam filled hull, this boat offers charter guests all the comfort, spaciousness, and fishability that they could ask for.

Captain Chris runs a variety of trips to suit your preferences, ranging from inshore trips for Mangrove Snapper and Redfish (this is your best option on a winter charter), nearshore trips for Shark and Tarpon, and all the way up to ten-hour bottom fishing and trolling trips that could take place up to 35 miles offshore in the summer months. He fishes with both live bait and a range of artificial lures, using good quality light conventional and spin fishing gear.

Children are especially welcome on board. Captain Chris especially enjoys introducing them to the thrills that fishing has to offer, while also instructing them in the proper angling techniques. He loves answering any questions you might have throughout your trip, and enjoys talking about central Florida’s delicate ecosystem and marine life.

Please note: Captain Chris requires payment the day before the trip date so he can make sure the boat is full of live bait ready for your trip.

Captain Chris has fished his entire life heck it's what he does on his days off! He loves to catch fish but more than that he loves to see other people catch fish especially newbies and children. Captain Chris likes to impart his love of saltwater to others in every way possible he is an avid fisherman, diver, boater and just an all out salt water enthusiast. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100 ton master license with multiple endorsements and has fished in central America including Honduras, the Bahamas, Haiti, Mexico, and extensively on the Gulf of Mexico as well as the east coast of Florida. Having been a captain in the oil field he has operated in all kinds of weather from hurricanes and tropical storms to northeasters and even been run over by a few water spouts and struck by lightning. His experience makes him a very versatile captain and fisherman, truth is there ain't much out there he hasn't seen or been through. He was even published in the Florida Sportsman magazine at age 6.

We loved our fishing trip with Captain Chris! It was a cold windy day but he got us to places where we all caught lots of fish and had a great time! We will definitely fish with Captain Chris again!

Just had a three-generations family fishing trip with Capt Chris—couldn’t have been better. Capt was very professional yet patient, great with our tweens, all the kids got at least one keeper. Boat is spacious and safe. Will be back someday for another trip with Capt Chris.
